We are both teachers (one math teacher and one musician + drum teacher) going on our honeymoon and summer break! We're happy to share our Ditmas Park home with someone/s or a family that will appreciate it as much as we do! Looking for a guest or guests to sublet from June 26 to August 6 and/or from August 15 to 31. You will have this space all to yourself!
You will be living in a 3rd floor L-shaped studio with lots of natural light coming through south-facing window exposures (very bright kitchen and bathroom as well) looking onto a quiet courtyard space with a communal garden. Our studio has a clear division of bedroom / living room / dining room / kitchen spaces.
There is also an additional flex room with a door, which currently functions as our office and has in the past fit guests sleeping on our twin-sized inflatable mattress - flex room is not featured in photos but available for viewing on video call. Our desk in the past was placed in the bedroom in front of the bed where there is currently a mirror and a bench. We would be happy to accommodate your preference of desk location.
We lived in Prospect Heights and Crown Heights before moving to the neighborhood - didn’t know much about Ditmas Park prior but we've fallen in love with this charming neighborhood lined with large trees, flowers, and Victorian homes - reminds me of Brookline, MA where I grew up :)

Ditmas Park is a gem with a real community feel - filled with vibrant cuisine (Spanish, Filipino, Tibetan, Thai, Middle Eastern, Mexican, Indian, Japanese, Chinese etc.), a Sunday farmer’s market on Cortelyou, and beautiful Victorian homes with regular Friday/Saturday/Sunday Operation Gig porch concerts!
