We are subleasing our home to a responsible, mature individual, couple, or small family. Rent includes all utility bills, access to the gym, and rooftop w bbq.
I’m somewhat flexible on dates and price - just ask!
LOCATION: SW corner of Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Across from parade grounds offering tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, playgrounds…
This quiet building with a doorman features a gym, elevator, rooftop with 2 BBQ grills, roof community garden, large courtyard, kid's playroom, bike room, and lounge. It is only steps from the incredible Prospect Park and the F & G trains.
The spacious, sun-drenched two-bedroom apartment features a large outdoor terrace (10ftx15ft). It's ideal for people who enjoy picking fresh strawberries and tomatoes! There's an in-unit washer and dryer. Apartment is equipped with anything you need (such as fresh sheets, new pillows, towels, and kitchen utensils). We have lovely, quiet neighbors.
The kitchen has an oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, and all sorts of pots and pans, plates, and utensils. The open-concept living room features a dining area with an expandable table, comfortable couch, and large flat-screen TV. The apartment faces southwest, which means you have lots of sunshine. There are AC units in the living room and main bedroom.
The main bedroom has a queen bed, a large working desk, and a large walk-in closet. The second room is smaller and is our kid's bedroom, hence the bunk bed and underwater world theme. Although it has no windows, the room is kept cool and pleasant to sleep in.
We can also provide a pack n' play crib and high chair if you come with your little one(s).
Transportation:
This is a quiet and friendly neighborhood yet a quick and easy ride to downtown Brooklyn or Manhattan. The building is just a short walk from the F and G trains. The Q train is about a 15-minute walk. I work in Midtown Manhattan, and it takes me about 45 minutes door-to-door on the F and A Express.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Please tell me a little about yourself and what brings you to NYC.
Marta
I am a University professor with a passion for gardening. I am German and moved to NYC a few years ago. My husband and I started our family here, determined to combine the urban and our love for nature. This has been our home for the past four years. My husband and I will be your contact people. We will always be available if you have any questions or concerns.

I would have to deal with this on a case by case basis. No cats unfortunately bc of the scratching and cat loo... They also might fall off the balcony.
