We live in a quiet dead end street in the hills of Studio City. The space is a furnished guest apartment below our house (we are on a steep hill, so it is still on a second floor level). We are surrounded by nature. The apartment has its own entrance and own gate to the street and is completely disconnected from the main house. It has a spacious living room with a TV with Roku, a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee machine etc., a full bathroom, a bedroom with a workspace and a door to the terrace, a washer and a dryer and second exit to our garden, that will remain closed during the stay (except for emergencies).
There is a flight of stairs to go up to the street.
We would like to rent the space to preferably someone from out of town, as it is not a permanent rental, but only meant for short term. We are somewhat flexible with the dates.
We are in a quiet, nature spot, but there is an endless array of restaurants just down the street. Studio City is a laid back neighborhood and easy to get around. Five good restaurants and a Spouts grocery store in walking distance and Ventura Blvd. has all kind of entertainment to offer. The bus stop is right down the street and the metro station is maybe a 15 min walk away.
My husband and I both work in the film industry and we have a 12 year old daughter and a very sweet dog. We live a quiet life.
We own the house.
We would ask for a deposit of $500 for eventual damage, which will be returned promptly one day after move out. We will have a rental agreement that covers the basics and would like to have a zoom call before renting out to get to know each other a little. Rent will be due on the first day of move in, the security deposit at time of signature of the agreement.
