A sundrenched, high-ceilinged room is available in my beautiful pre-war 800 sq ft apartment in Yorkville. The room comes with a full bed and linens, a desk, a dresser, full-wall mirror and beautiful built-in bookshelves which provide ample storage space. The apartment features an enormous eat-in kitchen, a palatial living room with a massive Persian rug, beautiful furnishings, a Steinway baby grand and a television w/ hbo max, hulu, netlifx & amazon prime. The apartment has hardwood floors throughout, high ceilings, crown molding, and built-in cabinetry galore.

You would be living with me, an actress and jazz singer. The apartment feels very quintessential old New York in a Woody Allen kind of way. I have tons of books and I've decorated the place with lots of antiques. It is a railroad apartment, so I would have to pass through your room to use the living room--which I hardly ever would do except to use the piano (I never watch TV)- so essentially the entire living room is yours to spread out in--and you would pass through my room to get to the bathroom. I have always lived with a housemate and have had many wonderful experiences, so if that bohemian style works for you, then it works for me :) Also, I spend a LOT of time upstate so oftentimes the apartment would be all yours.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a classic New York townhouse. There are only 5 units in the building, so it is always very quiet. Yorkville is a wonderful neighborhood. I am three blocks from the East 86 Street Q Train and very close to Central Park, Carl Schurz Park and the East River Promenade. Also very close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim and the Neue Gallerie.

I am an actress and jazz singer. I am also a native New Yorker who grew up right here in Yorkville. I love to read, cook, listen to jazz music and watch old movies. I'm usually out and about during the day unless I'm home making an audition tape. I am almost always out at night because that's when I have my gigs. When I'm not out, I like quiet evenings at home. And oftentimes, I'm not home at all because I have a house upstate and spend a lot of time there.
