Come stay in my charming and cozy home located less than a block from Tompkins Square Park in the East Village/Alphabet City neighborhood! The apartment is across from a large community garden on 9th Street and has great sunlight all day through south facing windows.

Open to one or two occupants, would be great for a couple! Asking for folks who will respect my space -- not smoking in the apartment, not having any large parties in the building, and watering my plants once a week.

Specifics about the apartment:

-Up two flights of steps in a well-maintained pre-war building. Live-in Super in case you need anything :)

-Combined living space & kitchen, with a pull-out couch that can sleep one person.

-Separate primary bedroom with queen sized bed.

-Smaller room that I've set up as a combination walk in closet & work table. (I will clean all my sewing stuff out of here so you can use the table as you wish!)

-Bathroom with shower & small bathtub.

-Shared rooftop space with picnic table (I have dinner up there all the time, it's amazing!)

-Spectrum Wifi, good connection for working from home or streaming Netflix on a night in.

-Air Conditioner in the bedroom that is powerful enough to keep the whole apartment comfortable in the summer.
