I'm renting out my apartment for $900/week or, for stays four weeks or longer, $3,000/month.
It's a one-bedroom apartment on the second floor of a 1930s building on a tree-lined residential street near the Buttes-Chaumont, Paris’s biggest park.
It’s within walking distance of the Belleville, Jourdain, and Canal Saint-Martin neighbourhoods. It’s south-facing with an unobstructed view, so you get a lot of natural light.
It has one big living and dining space, a separate kitchen, a bedroom for two, and a bathroom. The entire apartment was gut-renovated a couple of years ago.
The living room is furnished and decorated with modern European design pieces, eclectic wall art I've collected over the years in various places, two Persian carpets, and a few plants. There’s a large comfy sofa and a one-seater, a design LG TV, a dining table for four, a bookcase, and a digital piano.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a brand-new oven, an electric stovetop, and a De Longhi espresso machine.
The bedroom has a Queen size bed for two (160 x 200 cm) and a good-sized open wardrobe.
The bathroom is spacious and modern, with a large shower and a washer/dryer.
You’ll also have fast fiber optic Wi-Fi, a Canal+ streaming subscription, Sonos speakers in the living room and bedroom, and a PS5 if you’re a gamer. All of that is included in the rent.
The building has two elevators and a room for bike storage.
The neighbhorhood is a lot of fun, walkable, with lots of hip eateries, bars, cafés/specialty coffee shops, and stores of all kind. The street itself is residential and a minute away from one of the entrances to the Buttes-Chaumont park, which is gorgeous. You'll be a 5-minute walk from the rue de Belleville (bustling, lively street that has everything you can wish for), plus a 10-15 minute walk away from Jourdain (lovely village-like area) and the iconic Canal Saint-Martin.
Metro lines 2, 11, and 7bis are all a 5-7 minute walk away (Pyrénées, Belleville, Buttes-Chaumont, and Colonel Fabien stations), providing quick access to the rest of Paris. There’s also a “vélib” (city bike) station literally a minute away + Bus 26 also super close.
I am of Lebanese and Palestinian heritage. I grew up in Lebanon and then lived mostly between Paris and New York during my studies and the early part of my career as a lawyer, before moving back to Europe permanently three years ago. I've owned this place for two years and it's my home—I live in it most of the time.

If you're interested, please write me an email introducing yourself and telling me the reason for your stay.
Please also send me a link to your LinkedIn profile or other social media (though I'm not on any other, so LinkedIn would be most convenient if you have an account). And I'll share mine of course.
After our exchange in writing, I would also like to set up a video-call, so that we can meet face-to-face. During that call I can give you a tour of the apartment and answer any questions.
If all looks good I'll send you a lease agreement for signature after our video-call. $2,000 security deposit due on signature.
This is my home, and I've put in a lot of work and time to get it renovated and decorate it to my taste with carefully selected furniture. I am looking for someone who will treat it with respect and leave it as clean and tidy as they found it. That's critical to me. No pets, no smoking, no large parties.
