This is a bright, plant-filled apartment only one block from the metro (blue, silver, orange line) in Capitol Hill. It is on the second floor of a small, new construction condo building with six units- there are 16 stairs up to the apartment. The floors are vinyl and easy to clean. I will leave my wi-fi on and there is a 42-inch Samsung television.
It has high, loft-style ceilings, large west-facing windows, and a very private patio. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances is well-stocked with other cooking supplies. There’s in-unit laundry and central air, controlled by a nest thermometer that can be set to a schedule. I have several low-maintenance plants that will need watering, but many have self-watering pots. I will be leaving most of my stuff behind but I will make sure to leave you an empty chest of drawers and shelf space in the bedroom closet. I have many books that you are free to peruse. The apartment is about 800 square feet- I live here alone but it is also adequate for a couple. I love this neighborhood, it’s very walkable and has easy access to other parts of the city thanks to the proximity of the metro station.

I am a violinist! My main job is with the Kennedy Center opera but I also play all over the country- in the summers I play at Lincoln Center in NYC. I love plants, reading, and cooking- you will see evidence of all three in my place! I am eclectic, artistic, and very independent. My neighbors in the building are very kind and quiet people.
