Tranquil Desert House and Art Studio near Joshua Tree

Fully renovated 1956 Homestead Cabin with art studio on 2.5 acres, surrounded by Joshua Trees, mountains and the expansive desert. The house has been artfully and lovingly remodeled with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, walk in wardrobe, indoor and outdoor dining tables, wifi, and air-conditioning.
The art studio is separate from the house and has a work desk, easel, lights, two large walls for hanging work on plus perfect even natural light all day. It also has an extra lofted bed. There is an indoor and an outdoor shower.
A collaborative project between artists Aaron Glasson and Prescott McCarthy, the house exists as a functional live-in sculpture intended to provide space and inspiration to creatives or those seeking respite in the glorious Mojave Desert.

- Goat Mountain hiking trail is only 4mins away
- 20 mins to Joshua Tree. (cafes, restaurants and national park)
- 20 mins to Pioneer Town and Pappy & Harrietts (legendary desert venue)
- 1 hour to Big Bear Lake
- 1 hour to Palm Springs (and airport)
- 2 hours drive to Los Angeles.

Rental requirements
You'll need a car to stay at house as markets are a drive away.
I am asking for $1000 deposit to cover any accidents. At the end of your stay $150 will be deducted for cleaning, and $850 returned to you. I'll also ask you sign a rental agreement and get a copy of drivers license or passport.
