We are looking for a roommate (25-35) to move into an available rooms in a 4-bedroom apartment (first floor, 2.5 baths, balcony) on the Upper West Side, with the lease starting July 1. The apartment is on 92 Street and Columbus, just around the block from Trader Joe's, in walking distance to both 92 street stops (1-2-3 and B-C) and a quick stroll from Central Park.
The apartment itself comes with a large spacious living room area, a balcony, a dishwasher, and air conditioning. A laundromat is around the block as well, as is a host of restaurants, bars, pharmacies and other amenities.
The room is spacious enough for a queen-size bed, with a tall ceiling and two large windows overlooking the street. It has an en-suite full bathroom, and three different closet spaces—one of which is a walk-in.
The room is currently fully furnished (bedframe, mattress, desk, desk chair, small mid-century modern sofa), which can be transfered to the new tenant, subject to negotiation.
About This Lister
We are three late-stage graduate students at Columbia, NYU, and Princeton, working towards JDs and PhDs.
The vibe in the apartment, while adult and professional, is definitely communal and 420 friendly. Even though everybody keeps their own schedules, we like to have friends over and throw the occasional party. We appreciate keeping an orderly and clean space and are generally considerate of each other and our occasional guests.

Rental requirements
The rent is $1525 a month. In addition to the rent, there is, per tenant, a $25 fee for internet services, a varying electricity fee (between ~ $25 to $40 a month), and $50 fee for a monthly cleaning service.
The room requires a one month’s security deposit and half a month's rent upfront.
In order to be eligible, our landlord will require the following documents: 1) Proof of income and last 2 pay stubs, 2) your most recent tax return 1040 form (page 1 and 2 only), 3) your most recent bank statement (checking and savings) and 4) an application form with PhotoID. Applications from couples will not be considered. No pets.
