I'm a tech marketer attempting to finalize fluency by spending a few months in Spain, so I'm putting my bungalow up for sublet. The property is within walking distance of Venice Beach, Great White, Ospi, Hinano, Menotti's, the canals and everything Abbott Kinney has to offer.
The stand-alone bungalow is a true 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom, with distinct living, dining and kitchen spaces. The main area is flooded with natural light, with many windows that can also be opened to allow the cool ocean breezes to flow through the cottage. I have a heater and a couple of ceiling fans, but no air conditioning.
Not pictured for security reasons is a small front porch and a back, gated patio area. Bike with basket and a lock available for use--and plenty of biking paths in the area.
Other amenities include a washer and dryer. A comfortable queen-size bed, high-speed WiFi ideal for remote work, gas stove, coffee grinder, KitchenAid mixer and more in the fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. I love to cook and have quality pots, pans and knives, spices, staples and more.
A deep clawfoot tub for your soaking enjoyment is in the bathroom, along with a filtered shower head I recently installed.
Walk-in closet will offer space for your clothes, along with two under-bed drawers.
Very close to LAX (15-20 minutes pending traffic).
This apartment is my beloved home for the last 4.5 years. My personal belongings are there.
It is perfect for one quiet, discreet person that would take care of my home as if it was theirs. Would really appreciate anyone willing to water my plants once per week.
I am a tech professional originally from New Orleans and currently based in LA. Organized and clean. Love to cook so kitchen is stocked. I currently live in the house but I will be traveling for at least all of June and part of July to Spain.
