Apartment has an open kitchen/dining/living layout that flows out to a private balcony. South/west exposure means great natural light and beautiful sunsets w/ open sky views of Ditmas Park's Victorian homes — no brick walls here : )
Room is light and bright, furnished w/ an extra-long queen bed, full-sized mirror, mini desk, nightstand, lamp, and in-wall A/C, and has a large and well-lit closet. Bed comes w/ down duvet, pillows, bedding etc.
Your private bathroom has a deep bathtub, shower and sink, with plenty of storage space, and comes with bath linens.
Apartment has an eclectic, chill vibe — Restoration Hardware furniture mixed with vintage finds, plants, Ikea pieces, and art from around the world. Kitchen is well-stocked (Vitamix, Nutribullet etc.) w/dishwasher, microwave.
In-unit washer, in-wall A/C throughout, solid closet space.
Rooftop has comfortable lounge chairs, tables and chairs and vast sky views. Gym has all the great basics +, gets natural light/ fresh air/ aircon. Movie room for 6 ppl. All included in rent. Utilities (electric/gas/internet) ~$70–90/month depending on season. Super on site.

Location: 7 min walk to Newkirk Plaza (B/Q) or 10 min to Newkirk Ave (2/5). Great supermarkets within 5 min, Cortelyou restaurants/bars and Flatbush Food Co-op ~10 min. 30 min to downtown Manhattan, 40 min to midtown. Prospect Park is a 6 min bike ride or 15–25 min walk, Brighton Beach ~20–25 min, Rockaways ~1 hr by transit.

The vibe: My home is my sanctuary-a place to restore and recharge, enjoy life. Chill and clean energy, so mostly good vibrations all around.

Looking for: a roommate (female/female-identifying, looking to rent to one person only) who is considerate, chill/drama-free, into honest, kind communication, friendly and clean. Comfortable living with a social introvert. Ideally mid/late 30s–60s. I work with immunocompromised folks, so masking on the subway is a big plus. Looking for someone longterm, though potentially open to someone short-term, should it feel right.

Norwegian (she/her), adaptive yoga and somatic movement educator. Love nature, walks- beach/park/neighborhood, friends, dance floors, meditation, yoga, live music, movies, and the occasional binge-TV tunnel.
