Hi there! I’m going to be in New York this winter, and am subletting my dreamy Santa Monica apartment. Dates are somewhat flexible at this point, but I'm looking for a three-month period at minimum.

Apartment:
My apartment is bright and peaceful, with windows on both sides of the unit, air conditioning in the living and bedroom, a private balcony, bathtub, dishwasher and IN-UNIT LAUNDRY :)

I’m on the top floor of a quiet two-story building that only has 10 other units. I am friends with my neighbor across the hall, who is lovely and has kindly offered to help if anything comes up during your stay.

The apartment comes with full utilities: water, electric, wifi, etc. Street parking is free and you're also welcome to use my bicycle to get around.

Location:
My apartment is in an unbeatable location on a beautiful tree-lined street, half a block from Palisades Park with ocean views from the bluffs, and on Montana Ave, Santa Monica’s most walkable and charming neighborhood. There is a stairway that leads to the PCH overpass and straight to the beach, and you'd be distance to Whole Foods and Pavillions for groceries.

Some favorite spots include Primo Passo and Demitasse for coffee, GGET for the best breakfast burritos, Sogno Toscano, Bread Head, R&D Kitchen, and Forma. Happy to provide more nearby recommendations.

Late summer in LA is truly dreamy. The beach weather often lasts all fall. I was swimming in the ocean well into October last year.

I'm a forty-something former New Yorker (she/her) who moved to Santa Monica three years ago and absolutely love living here. I work remotely, and take advantage of the walkability of my neighborhood, both to shops, cafes and restaurants, and also to the beach. I also picked up tennis while out here, and the courts are a 15 minute walk away. Basically, everything is a 15 minute walk away :)

I have some health-related things to take care of and would prefer to be near my family in New York while I do so.
