You’ll be staying in a spacious 15 x 11 room with two bright windows, a super comfy full-sized bed, a writing desk, and I will leave you clean sheets and towels (unless you prefer to bring your own).

The apartment is a 3rd floor walkup. It has hardwood floors throughout and an ABUNDANCE of beautiful natural light throughout the day. We love our home to be a peaceful, nourishing sanctuary - it’s not a party house. Bathroom, living room and kitchen are shared, and you’ll have full access to cooking and dining utensils and amenities. A love of cleanliness is crucial in our shared spaces. Plant lovers especially welcome!

The apartment is located in the less gentrified part of Crown Heights, just off Eastern Parkway. It's a residential area 2 minutes away from Lincoln Terrace Park with tennis, squash, baseball and basketball courts. There are 2 laundromats around the block and a very well stocked supermarket a 5 min walk away.

It’s a 10 min walk from the 3/4 Utica Avenue subway stop, where a 10 min ride to Atlantic Ave will connect to the B,D,N,Q,R lines. It’s also a 15-20 min walk to Utica Ave on Ralph Ave the A/C trains and there are lots of local buses, including the B15 direct to JFK airport.

I am a Brooklyn-based theater director (she/her) going out of town for work. You’ll be living with my lovely roommate, a Palestinian woman in her early 40s who is a PhD student at NYU and works from home.
