Hello! We are subletting our beautifully located, minimally clad 1-bedroom/2-bedroom flex place for a minimum of a month from 1/1 - 1/31/26, with a possibility to extend.
The apartment is located in the communal neighborhood of Prospect Heights, surrounded by quaint cafes, restaurants, grocers, and nearly anything one could need. The Brooklyn Museum, Grand Army Plaza (with Hanukkah and Christmas displays in December), Brooklyn Library, Children's Museum, and numerous groceries stories, restaurants, quaint cafes, and shops along Franklin, Washington, and Vanderbilt Avenues are all within an easy stroll. It's a family-oriented and communal building and neighborhood. Transit is nearby: across the street is the S at Botanic Gardens, and it’s a short walk to the Franklin Avenue 2/3/4/5 or A/C trains, B44 and B48 buses, and several City Bike kiosks within 1-3 blocks’ radius.
One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, clothing space, and work table. A second bedroom functions as a workroom, with two desks, with an available queen-sized air mattress and mattress topper.
This is our home, and we put a lot of work into offering a warm abode when guests visit.
Amenities include: wifi, washer/dryer in the building, a designated workspace, kitchen-use, towels, AC, ample heat; books on art, visual literacy, poetry, and cognitive psychology.
Utilities and wifi are included in the monthly price.
Serious interest only, please. Apartment ideal for a single person or couple. Preference will be given to those who share links to public accounts (LinkedIn, articles, social media, etc.) that can verify one's livelihood and identity.
Initial phone calls to meet can be arranged for Wednesday morning, Friday, Saturday.
I'm a curator, consultant, writer, adjunct academic, and longterm leaseholder (she/her) who travels frequently for work, to visit family, and to experience more of the Northeast and beyond!
Requirement to sign sublet agreement and pay a 1/2- month deposit in advance, fully refundable contingent on the apartment's return to its original state. Myself, or a neighbor, will connect with you for a set of keys at the start and end.
Charges reflect the apartment's rent plus the cost of utilities.
The cat in one of the photos will NOT be on-site, but we include him to indicate that it is a home with a cat. With exception of certain small, quiet and well-trained dogs on a case by case basis, please no additional pets, sorry.
