I have one bedroom available in a 2 bedroom apartment (top floor of 4flr walk up). Apt is a few blocks from the Halsey L and Irving Square Park.
Room is available now so move in can be earlier or later for the right person and will prorate.
Room is quiet and gets good light. It is on the smaller side, but comfortably fits a full size bed, dresser or bookshelf, nightstand, and other odds and ends. There is no closet, but there’s a rail installed that you’re welcome to remove. Can come with a full size bed. Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment.
Open to long or short term, but preference to someone who is open to seeing how things go short term, then making a longer commitment. Must like dogs and be cool with the reality that mine barks sometimes.
Ideally, you are emotionally intelligent, communicative, do not work from home full time, and have your shit together.
It’s important our vision of cleanliness and home space energy is relatively aligned.
Please share a bit about yourself— what you do for work/typical schedule, some things you do for fun, and what you value in a living space.
I would be your only human roommate. My dog Hank is dog selective and afraid of cats, so no other dogs or cats pls. I’m a woman in my 30s. I like to cook, bake, play chess, read, draw, craft, and practice yoga. I'm not a huge partier, but I like to have fun. I work from home almost completely full time for a production company the specializes in the beauty industry (sometimes I’m on set). I would say I’m friendly and curious, but I also value spending time alone. I prioritize mental well being through sleep hygiene, keeping up with chores, communicating, and living my silly lil life. When reaching out, please include the word canoe somewhere so I know you took the time to read through things.
$1250/month plus half electric and portion of wifi. Security deposit ($600). You will not be on the lease, but a sublet agreement should be executed.
Move in 12/1 (sooner is available if needed but would prorate for the rest of the month)
