Apartments for Sublet
Hello hello! My boyfriend and I are subleasing our apartment. We moved down the street in January but loved this place so much we couldn't totally let it go. This sublease can start as soon as June 1 and we are pretty flexible in length of stay but would like to sublease it for 6 months, with potential to extend at the end of the sublease term. The monthly rent is $2,500. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, but if approved then we will collect a $150 cleaning fee upon lease end.
As the headline says, it’s a 1bd/1ba with a small & gated front yard with medium height hedges that are just tall enough to afford you a little bit of privacy when you spend time out there. It is also located a block away from the heart of Sunset Junction where you can find tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and well-connected bus stops. There is also a farmers market on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. If you have a car, there is plenty of street parking and we don’t typically run into issues finding spots on the block.
The apartment itself is around 900 sqft, with a large kitchen and 2 storage closets. We are leasing the apartment furnished. This apartment does not have in-unit laundry but there are many affordable laundromat options very close nearby.
About This Lister
My boyfriend and I are a pretty easy-going queer couple. I work in architecture/interiors and my boyfriend works in TV. We live with our dog, Beef, a couple units down from this apartment we are subleasing. We enjoy days & nights in as much as we enjoy days & nights out. In addition to using the f*** out of my AMC A-List membership I am an absolute tennis fanatic and you'll often see me on the courts nearby if you're ever out there :)

Rental requirements
We'd like to meet sublease applicants, which we can do via facetime/zoom or IRL. We can arrange for you to see the apartment as well.
If we decide to move forward with the sublease agreement then prior to move in we will need to collect first month's rent and one month's security deposit upon lease signing. We will also require any applicants leasing for 3+ months to consent to a background/credit check.
Pets Policy
Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis after meeting. We will collect an $250 pet deposit, of which $150 will be retained as a cleaning fee at lease end and the remaining $100 will be returned along with the security deposit paid at the beginning of the sublease.
