About This Lister

I'm Jennifer (she/her), a 39-year-old neurodivergent transwoman artist, musician, and performer. I work remotely as junior chief of staff to a therapy practice in NYC and for a grant getting free mental health services to trans folks.

I've lived in this home for six years now, and we’ve had a number of different community arrangements over the years. I am currently seeking one new housemate to join the house and contribute to a culture of collaboration, creativity and community.

I currently live here with Eke, a ball python… they have their own space and enclosure so you never need to engage with them if you are not a snake person, but if you are you will make a new friend! I also live with Jill/JJ, a non-binary artist and art therapist, would also works mostly from home. Jill has a relatively young cat named Jack Meowmdani who is uber cute and sweet and only slightly full of crime.

We share house cleaning and maintenance duties and have someone come once a month to do a deep clean of communal spaces (cost for this built into rent).

Both Jill and I are kind, loving people that enjoy connecting and engaging but also spend a lot of time quietly with ourselves. We seek to maintain that balance.

Ideal Housemate:

We are looking for individuals who are independent, accountable, clean, communicate clearly, and understand how to live well with others. We all depend on one another to keep things moving smoothly and cohesively.

We are open to whoever is the best fit, regardless of identity; queer, femme, and/or trans +++
