We are subletting our beautiful furnished 1br apartment at the border of Cobble Hill and Brooklyn Heights in July (13-30) and August (13-26) while we are out of town visiting family.

Cobble Hill is a lovely walkable, lively, and also family friendly neighborhood that gets quiet at night.

We are within short walking distance to several subway lines (2, 3, 4, 5, A, C, F, G, N, R, W), which will take you to the heart of Manhattan in no time. Brooklyn Bridge Park by the East River is 10 min by foot where you can take the South Brooklyn Ferry which makes stops in Manhattan, Red Hook, Dumbo, and Governors Island. There is a Trader Joe's down the street as well as many restaurants and coffee shops.

What you will find in our apartment besides furniture and kitchen supplies:

- AC (central air)
- Washer / dryer
- Dishwasher
- Small balcony in the back
- High-speed internet
- No tv

This is a walk-up, we are on the 2nd floor (1 flight of stairs).

We are looking for someone or a couple (possibly with small child) who can stay at least 1 week, but ideally the entire duration of either July or August vacancy.

About This Lister

We pay our rent by writing code and advertising-related work. We are also parents to a marvelous little human being. In the time that remains, we love to explore our city, sculpt with clay and metals, make digital art, and paint. We will be visiting our parents/now grandparents this summer and are looking for a kind and respectful person/couple to enjoy our apartment while we're gone.
