I’m subletting my 1-bedroom apartment in the Upper East Side, on 81st near 2nd Av. It’s a 3rd-floor walk-up with beautiful light throughout the day - bright, but no harsh direct sun blasting in.

The bedroom is on the smaller side (fits a Queen bed comfortably), so it’s ideal for one person or a cozy couple.

Location-wise, it’s kind of the best of both worlds:
• 5–10 minute walk to Museum Mile and Central Park
• Carl Schurz Park and the East River in the other direction
• Surrounded by great cafés, restaurants, and low-key neighborhood bars
• 4–5 minutes to the express Q train

The apartment has a 60” Samsung TV and a Bose soundbar, perfect for movie nights in. There’s no dishwasher or in-unit washer/dryer, but there’s Sandra, an excellent drop-off laundry service right across the street (very easy).

All utilities are included (Wi-Fi, electric, water).

A couple of simple requests:
No parties, no noise after 10pm and please be okay with watering the plants once a week 🌱
