We are looking for someone who is respectful of our place and neighbors, willing to stay for the whole period, and who is comfortable and excited about taking care of a beautiful, people-loving orange cat. The discounted rate reflects the expected cat care. Our cat needs to be fed twice a day and takes medication every morning, so it is essential that the person is here for the whole period and will not travel. We haven’t met a single person who took care of our cat and didn’t fall in love with him!

We are a couple who recently moved from California to NYC and will be traveling from December 10, 2025, to January 10, 2026. One of us is a graphic designer and the other one is a conservation scientist, and we are current tenants of this beautiful brownstone apartment. We are looking for someone who will take wonderful care of our place and of our cat. It is a small building and our landlords live just around the corner, so it’s essential to be respectful and treat the apartment and building with care.
