The Southern Berkshire village of Mill River in New Marlborough, MA has been inspiring artists for decades. In our cottage, guests will find a lovely space featuring one queen bed downstairs and one king bed in the loft. The cottage includes two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a deep bathtub, making it easy to refresh after a day of exploring or art-making. Enjoy a comfortable stay with heating and AC to keep the temperature just right. Whether relaxing indoors or stepping out to enjoy the surroundings, this wonderful cottage offers an enjoyable retreat. We rent an art studio at the nearby Whip Shop https://www.whipshopsouthfield.com and if we are away while you're staying at the cottage, we can discuss the possibility of subleasing the space to you as well.

Additional amenities include: clothes washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, free wifi and propane for the fireplace. There are four minisplits for heat and AC. Electricity is not included in the monthly rent, but usually runs about $200/month or less if you are responsible about how you use the minisplits.

Jacob is a fine art oil painter focused on queer mysticism and portraiture in nature, and this region has been a natural fit for his work.
