There are two rooms now available in my 1200 sf three-bedroom apartment in Prospect Lefferts Garden.

The apartment is a three-story, classic Brooklyn Limestone. You'd be sharing one of the floors with me on the 2nd floor. While in an active neighborhood, it's situated near the back of a dead-end street, allowing for quiet time at home while still having everything within walking distance of your door.

One room is located at the front of the apartment, measuring 180 sq. ft. in size, and faces the street, offering 3 large windows and receiving great sunlight. The room features a large 27 sq. ft. walk-in closet, located directly outside the room.

The second room, measuring 144 sq. ft., is situated at the back of the apartment, facing a quiet, shady courtyard with a view of a nearby bamboo garden. There is a 180 sf. deck, which is shared between the room and mine. The bedroom features exposed brick and a large sliding door closet, offering ample storage space.

The apartment has undergone a full renovation. The living room and one bedroom are still being worked on. Photos will be available October 10.

There is a closet for extra storage in the hallway, and we can store items in the basement at no additional cost. Hardwood floors throughout the apartment.

The bathroom has a bathtub. The kitchen features a Miele washer and dryer, a Bosch dishwasher, and a quartz countertop.

The monthly rent for each room is $1,500 with a move-in date of October 15, 2025. The room adjacent to the deck is available immediately. A one-month deposit is required. All utilities except electricity are included.

The neighborhood is excellent. It takes about one minute to get to Prospect Park, and the apartment is literally around the corner from it, as well as the Parkside Q train. There are three grocery stores all within 10 walking minutes, along with unique restaurants and local businesses to support.

A little about myself- I'm in my early 40s and have a few jobs, I'm not a typical 9-5 person, and love it! I do my fair share of traveling when I can, so there are times when I won't be there for a bit. While I'm happy to chat in the kitchen and living room, I tend to be on the quieter side. I keep the apartment tidy, cleaning up after myself and making sure things aren't too messy. I am not a neat freak, so I don't expect a roommate to be either. Once in a while, I have a couple of friends over for drinks on the deck, but I never bring the party home.

I am looking for someone in their 30s and up, female preferred, but definitely flexible for the right person. No smoking.

Friendly cats are considered.
