June 1st move-in for a two-room basement with soundproofing, a private half-bathroom and private entrance within a fabulous 3-story Victorian mansion in Ditmas Park. The house is shared with seven others - creative types and professionals, late twenties to forties. Everyone has busy schedules and the house never feels crowded. No pets or couples for this listing please.

The house boasts a wraparound porch and a full backyard with a vegetable garden that you're welcome to enjoy. There's a spacious kitchen with two fridges, a nice living room with a grand piano and functional fireplace. There are two other bathrooms available in the house containing a shower and a bathtub as well.

In it's heyday, this historic mansion used to be a piano school with the basement serving as a recording studio. In more recent times, the house heralded the indie-pop band Lucius who serenaded it with their album "Songs From the Bromley House".

We're around the corner from the Q on Cortelyou Road, a brimming avenue with cafes, fantastic grocery, bar and restaurant options. An ~18 minute walk from the 2/5 and F/G trains, Windsor Terrace, and Prospect Park.

The neighborhood is true magic, and you're 30 minutes door-to-door from Union Square.

I'm Danylo, I've been proudly subleasing this basement for the past 3 years and as the outgoing roommate, I'm helping the house find a new person to replace me in the basement. It breaks my heart to leave this place because it's helped me find my singing voice.
