I’m a poet and writer, and I’ve lived in this apartment for five years as a renter. I’m leaving to move in with my boyfriend, but I’m hanging onto this lease because the apartment is so fantastic and because I got it at an incredible Covid rate (which I’ll be passing onto the subletter). I’ve adored living here. The neighborhood is vibrant yet close-knit, the park nearby is a gem, the apartment is light-filled and comfortable, and I put a lot of thought into the decor. I’m extremely clean and the apartment is in great shape.
Subletting is legal under my lease. The building staff are fantastic. The owner is a large no-frills corporate landlord. I posted for a 6-month sublet but that timing is flexible. Above all, I’m just looking for the right person.
