About This Lister
We are Gordon and Danielle, designers and long-time Hudson Valley residents of almost 10 years. Our time here has been defined by renovating local homes and deeply exploring the best of upstate life. While we now divide our year between New York and our farm in Andalusia, Spain, our Elizaville property remains our heart-center, a hand-built sanctuary we’ve poured ourselves into. We’re hoping to find someone who will treat this space with collective care and find inspiration in its fields, woods, and slow-living pace.

- Financials: One month’s rent as a security deposit, plus the first month’s rent due upon signing the sublease agreement.
- Ideal Tenant: We are looking for someone (or a small family/creative team) who will treat our home with the same collective care we do. This is a quiet, restorative space, and we’d love to find a tenant who appreciates the stillness of the 9-acre property.
- Maintenance: Rent includes high-speed internet and monthly lawn maintenance. Utilities (Electric/Heat) are also included.
- House Rules: *No smoking or vaping inside the house or the A-frame cabin.
- No large parties or events without prior written consent.
- The wood-burning sauna must be operated with care; instructions will be provided in our house manual.

Insurance & Liability:
- Renter’s Insurance: All tenants are required to maintain a valid renter’s insurance policy (or a temporary short-term rental insurance policy) for the duration of the stay. Proof of coverage must be provided prior to move-in.
- Liability Waiver: Because the property includes a wood-burning sauna and a detached A-frame cabin in a wooded area, a signed liability waiver will be required as part of the rental agreement.
- Sauna Use: The wood-burning sauna is a highlight of the property, but it requires specific care. Tenants must agree to follow all safety and operational instructions provided in the house manual to ensure safe usage and prevent fire hazards.
