We have a beautiful second home in Andes, NY that, unfortunately, we have not made adequate use of since having a baby. We’re looking for a mid to long term renter who will be able to fully enjoy the space!

Our home is available starting in mid September 2025. 6 month minimum, dates flexible. The house is currently furnished but for a long-term tenant, we would be open to moving some of the furniture out of the space.

The home is a 3 bed, 2 bath. You enter the house through a large mudroom.

Upstairs, you will find:
- open plan living/dining/kitchen with a desk nook with everything you need to work remotely
- laundry room
- 2 queen bedrooms
- 1 full bath
- sun deck

Downstairs, off the mudroom, are:
- Another desk area, living room and wood burning stove
- full bath
- king bedroom

The house is inside of a historic dairy barn. The finished “house” occupies about 1/3 of the barn, the remainder is just a barn! If you have hobbies, crafts, workshop, etc., there’s plenty of space for you to explore in the barn (which is uninsulated/unfinished). It’s a truly unique space!

The barn is on 8 acres of mostly flat, open space. The field surrounding the barn is still used to grow hay to feed the local sheep!

We’re 1 mile from the town of Andes — a beautiful walk when the weather is nice.

$2800/month includes:

- plowing and mowing
