Hello!! We’re looking for a new roommate to move in on June 1st onwards in our beautiful 3-bedroom apartment in PLG / Flatbush, Brooklyn. If interested after reading more below, please send us a bit about yourself, whether you are looking for a long-term or short-term arrangement (include potential move-out dates if the latter), and when you can move in.
The area: The apartment is in a quiet and diverse neighborhood close to public transit-- the Parkside Ave Q is a 3-minute walk away
The housing opportunity: You’ll be living with 2 other roommates who identify as cis men. Rent is $1000/month, which includes utilities in the price. The place has 1 bathroom and a fully stocked kitchen. We have a combined dining and living room area, which is in the process of being repainted. The room can come furnished (if short-term) with a queen-size bed and a desk or unfurnished (if long-term). The closest is in your room, it is just hard to see from the photos. This is a 4th story walk apartment— unfortunately there is no elevator.
About us: We are professionals in our late 20s to early 30s and love to meet people interested in culture, history, and have a pluralist perspective on life. I work in civic engagement and climate spaces, and work from home about half of the week. The other roommate is taking a leave from bartending and looking to go back to school. We are both pretty even-keeled and want to keep a relaxed environment at home. I've put some of my pastimes below if you are curious.
About you: We are looking for a roommate who is clean, relaxed, and friendly. Must be comfortable living in a co-ed situation with people of various ethnic backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations. We may like to get a cat in the future, but we have no pets as of now.
If interested, please send us a bit about yourself, whether you are looking for long-term or short-term (include potential move-out dates if the latter), and when you would like to move in.

My pastimes include sourdough baking, reading, cycling, volleyball, working out, partner dancing (salsa, marange, etc.), board games, and a bit of quiet fiddling with the acoustic guitar ( I am a novice playing mostly folk music). My diet is plant-based, but happy to share space with people with any diets. I work quite a bit but enjoy communal dinners, watching documentaries, and curious conversations.
