PLEASE NOTE: PET CARE REQUIRED FOR THIS SUBLET
The ask:
Looking for someone to rent our apartment for a few weeks at a reduced rate in exchange for taking care of our cat, Mila
Total cost to stay: $1200 for 3 weeks
Mila is a sweet roughly 5 year old tuxedo cat. She gets fed twice a day, and enjoys getting pets and some play time especially in the morning and evening. Her litter needs to get cleaned out once every few days as well.
We have some indoor and outdoor plants that need to be watered about once a week.
We have one car that will need to be moved for street cleaning on Friday and Wednesday. There is always parking available on our block, so finding a spot should not be an issue.
The apartment:
You will stay in our lovely 1-bedroom apartment with an open layout and lots of natural light in the main room. The bedroom stays a bit darker. There are hardwood floors, electric stove/oven, small dishwasher.
The location is fantastic—just a 10 minute walk to the Castro Muni station and the main part of the Castro, 5 minute walk to Dolores Park, 10 minute walk to Noe Valley, 15 minute walk to the Mission—right in the center of San Francisco.
The highlight of the apartment is the stunning view of Twin Peaks and the Castro. However, this does mean that it requires walking up hill and up some stairs to access our unit. The entrance to the apartment looks out on a public stairway and a community maintained garden.
We keep our apartment as clean as Mila will allow, and are looking for someone who doesn't mind keeping it similarly tidy.
We have high speed internet, bluetooth speakers, a projector which you are welcome to use to watch tv and movies, and a small balcony with a table and chairs where you can enjoy the view when the wind and fog allow for it.
I've been living in San Francisco for about 11 years, and currently live with my partner.
I'm a designer, but am currently taking some time away from work to focus on my creative practice. My partner is a wine maker who specializes in natural wine.
In my free time I love hiking, watercolor painting, walking on beaches, cooking, flea marketing, reading and occasionally going to see some live music.
My partner and I are both creative people who appreciate natural beauty, and our home reflects that.
