I am subletting my room from May 22, 2025, to July 30, 2025. The room is in a 3-room apartment in Brooklyn. We live on the second floor of a 3-story house; it's very quiet, and there is no elevator in the building.
Our house is located between the Q train Cortelyou Road and the F/G train Church Ave. It's a 20-minute walk to Prospect Park. Near our house, you can easily find cafes, restaurants, and organic supermarkets. Every Sunday, there is a farmer's market on Cortelyou Road where they sell fresh vegetables, bread, plants, etc. There are several laundromats near our location, 6-10 minutes on foot.
We have a huge living room and newly renovated kitchen and provide everything you need! There's a huge balcony in our house, it's a nice area to hang out during the summer.
My room is very sunny and bright, small but cozy. It comes with a built-in closet, an antique desk, a full-size futon mattress, and an air-conditioner. (I will install the air conditioner for you, there's some problem of my door, I am asking my landlord to fix before i leave)
I live with 2 fabulous roommates(M, 30s) who work in the film and theatre industry. We don't often have parties at our home, but we occasionally invite friends over.
We are looking for a responsible individual who respects each other's privacy but is occasionally up for socializing. By subletting the room, you also agree to join the house cleaning schedule. If you are interested, send me a message and please tell me about yourself and what is the experience living together with you! We will arrange a video call.
The rent for May is $333, calculated based on 10 days.
Rent for June and July is $1000.
in total is $2333 all inclusive
I would prefer to have someone stay the whole period, and you are not allowed to sublet part of your stay to others.
I am an artist who is living in between NYC and Berlin, I am working towards my MFA degree too. I am doing dance performances, drawings, films and calligraphies.

We will have to set up a short zoom interview to see if the person is a good fit.
If the interview goes well, and we both agreed on the rental. I will ask for $500 for deposit, it will refund to you before you move out.
We will have to discuss this in details, our landlord have certain rules. Please describe your pet to us and we will see what we can do.
