Ground floor 400 ft2 open top studio in Ridgewood, Queens. One block away from Bushwick, Brooklyn. Two 12 x 15’ walls, one 10 x 24’ wall, and one 10 x 20’ wall. It is a brightly lit space with additional light coming in from the skylight and high quality light bulbs. You will have access to an 8 ft. wide roll up door that opens to street level. This space is intended for a visual artist, painter preferred but I'm open to sculptors and other mediums, depending. No woodworking.

This private studio is located in the back of my larger studio. It is on an industrial block and is a 5 minute walk to the Halsey L. Great neighborhood a block from different restaurants, cafes, breweries, and all Ridgewood amenities.

I am a full time painter/sculptor. This is a chill working environment. I play music on the speakers sometimes, sometimes wear headphones, so the ideal tenant would enjoy/be okay with this environment/dynamic. I keep the garage door open in the summer for fresh air and sunlight, sometimes grill and have people over from time to time to hangout when the weather is nice. The heat is great and strong in the winter, but there is no ac during the summer. I rent this space and I am looking to sublet this 400 sf portion of it month to month.

No deposit necessary. I am open to short or long term. Looking for someone chill who wants a private workspace with great space and huge walls, but also the nearby camaraderie of other working artists.
