Perfect for remote workers, creatives, or anyone wanting a real New York base this spring.
I'm a French-US international policy professional. I've spent the past 15+ years working across the UN system, governments, and environmental organizations. I have been living in Greenpoint for over 5 years, and I loved this neighborhood which has a real sense of community.
I also work as a coach focused on wellbeing and resilience, so creating spaces where people feel genuinely at ease is something I take seriously — in my work and in my home.
I'm subletting while I'm away for work, which means the apartment will be entirely yours. I'm responsive, straightforward, and easy to communicate with across time zones.
Every guest I've hosted has left happy — and with their full deposit back.
Lease & Pricing:
Short-term rental agreement required (signed prior to move-in)
All utilities included in the monthly rate — electricity, gas, Wi-Fi — as long as consumption stays within normal household use. I simply ask that lights, AC, and appliances aren't left running unnecessarily when you're out to conserve energy.
Booking Process:
$300 holding deposit to secure the apartment — deducted from your total
$600 refundable security deposit due at move-in, returned in full after a move-out walkthrough provided the apartment and its contents are in the same condition as on arrival
Full payment due at least 24 hours before move-in via Venmo, Zelle, or bank transfer — once confirmed, you'll receive access instructions and Wi-Fi details. Flexible arrival: come any time on your move-in day
No cleaning fee — simply return the apartment in the same clean condition you found it in
Verification:
Copy of valid government-issued photo ID required (passport, driver's license, or equivalent)
A short FaceTime call before confirming the booking — just to make sure it's a good fit on both sides. I'm also happy to do a walkthrough of the apartment beforehand and answer any questions you have.
House Rules:
Non-smoking apartment — no exceptions
No pets
Shoes-off space, please
No parties or large gatherings
Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM
Please water my plants once a week.
I hope you'll enjoy my home as much as I do :)
