We're twin sisters who in the late 1960's began collecting and eventually storing in our parents' attic our growing vintage collections. I guess we thought that after we retired we would open a special vintage shop, but that unfortunately didn't happen and now we find that it's time for us to dispose of our coveted collections.
While we retired from jobs that weren't connected to the sale of vintage, we were proud to have a "fashionistic" mother who had an impeccable wardrobe and was apparently influential in our acquired appreciation and interest in vintage--its history as well as the quality and design of garments and items specific to the various decades.
