Our cottage was built in 1830 as housing for local glass workers and later became Rolf Scarlett’s ( Woodstock artist ) summer residence .It is charming ,antique with a lot of quirky artist built ins- there is a living room that opens up to a kitchen area with a working stone fireplace in each .There a 2 smallish bedrooms in the back -one previously a studio with alot of shelving ..There is a bathroom w tub and a stacked washer/dryer tucked into a side hallway .The loveliest spot is the peaceful screened in porch We also own the 2 acre meadow across the lane w access to the Sawkill creek.Many great walks and local hikes and a short drive to Woodstock .
