We have a beautiful, plant-filled studio with abundant natural light and shared workstations available for rental period October 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026 (5 months) with option to renew at the end of the term. Slight variations of this timeline are accepted as well.

With 12 foot ceilings, large workstations, unique sourced vintage / modern furniture, and studio supplies (see list below) available for use, our studio welcomes creatives who appreciate an airy space to create in and are interested in the blank slate energy it provides to everyone each day. Right off the Morgan L stop, it’s easily accessible and located in a building that’s bustling with photographers, galleries, and creative projects.

Perfect for an artist, photographer, writer, designer, filmmaker, or creative who has a medium with a relatively low footprint (you get a large designated shelf for storage) and wants to be a part of an artistic community of diverse mediums. The ideal resident would be able to leave the space as they found it each day, bringing out their items as needed during their time, making full use of the space for their work, but returning everything to their shelf upon exiting for the day to make sure everyone has equal access to the space. Not ideal for anything messy, dusty, fume-y, or something that requires a lot of specialty equipment. The nature of the space involving a variety of mediums makes for interesting collaborations of ideas and moments of renewed inspiration.

You would have access 24/7 with an entry code with the exception of an occasional weeknight or weekend when an event (workshop, photoshoot, or exhibition) is run out of the space. You would have the opportunity to participate in or host these as well if that's something you're interested in! Always welcoming creative / collaborative energy. :)

This studio is on the first floor (up a few entryway stairs) of a commercial building with a freight elevator that can be scheduled during the business day (8am - 4pm). The studio is a great place for creative sanctuary, collaboration, and acts as the perfect backdrop for photographing recent work (you would have access to the photography EQ list below).

About This Lister

I’m a collage artist, muralist, writer, and production designer living in Brooklyn. I split time between making small works in the studio with being on location for a project. When I'm in the studio, I enjoy curating a kind, warm, fun, and respectful vibe and am looking for people who identify with that energy! You would share the studio with myself and a few others. We have been operating as a rotating monthly artist residency and are looking for longer term artists to share the studio with. :)
