About this Service

I offer grant writing, fundraising research and artist development to individual artists, filmmakers and art organizations.

I work with visual artists, interdisciplinary artists and filmmakers to help them define the concepts and context of their projects, and find the necessary creative tools and team members for the artwork production. I’m especially good at helping the artist find their distinctive voice and package their projects for pitching/fundraising purposes—through writing artist statements, film treatments and proposals, editing and sequencing images, and developing pitch decks. I design distribution and outreach strategies to help the artworks and films reach audiences, especially outside the usual circuits.

I provide one-to-one mentorships for artists. I charge a fee of $120 per hour and can offer a sliding scale for those in need.
For extended work I’m happy to provide discounts or agree on a fixed project fee.

NOTE! March-April discount offer:
Initial consultation of 40 min for a price of $78.

For art institutions and non-profits I’m available for consulting services focused on creative development, project packaging and fundraising. Rate varies upon the project.

About this Lister

I am an independent curator, creative producer and visual artist with over 25 years of practice. My image-making and engagement with other artists and communities are highly intertwined.

I curated over twenty exhibitions and festival programs on the intersection of video art, film, photography, performance and technology, lectured and taught workshops in Europe, the US, Brazil and Australia. As a creative producer I worked on award-winning installations, films, multi-platform and community engagement projects with visual artists and filmmakers focused on complex political subjects such as conflict, migration, post-colonialism, climate change and historical memory. I feel particularly passionate about projects addressing climate emergency.

I'm a stroke and cancer survivor. I am based in Portland, OR.
