Hello! I'm an artist and writer who will be in Providence during July and August for a residency, and I'm seeking an affordable, furnished apartment to sublet during my time there (2 full months, could be a little flexible for 1-3 days on either end).

This would ideally be a private space (not a bedroom within a larger apartment). Laundry and dishwasher would be great but not essential. Wifi is essential! I'd also like to be within a quick drive of the Federal Hill area, and would love a space with a lot of good windows/light. I will have a car, so easy parking nearby would be helpful.

I am a clean, responsible arts professional based in New York. In addition to writing, editing, and making work, I teach at several schools, and have taught at RISD in the past, so I am familiar with Providence and will enjoy spending more time there, especially exploring some of the beaches.

I have sublet other artists' apartments in the past and have enjoyed this form of mutual support; I would take good care of your apartment and am a quiet neighbor. During my time there, when not out at my residency, I'd enjoy cooking, reading, walking my dog, and running. It would be great to be easy walking distance to a park or other green space.

I have a small, quiet dog (~20 lbs) who is used to living in a NY apartment, never barks, and is not destructive; he spends most of his time sleeping on the couch when not on a walk. My partner, also a writer, may join me for some weeks during this two-month period as well.
