This home with fantastic, fenced yard is so close to everything yet you feel like you are in a quaint world. Watch the ever-changing Bay, the San Francisco skyline, Angel Island, Marin, Mount Tamalpais and the Golden Gate Bridge from every room, even the shower! A 10 minute walk takes you to the quaint Point Richmond downtown with restaurants, markets and coffee shop. The neighborhood is fantastic for walking and you can easily reach several pocket parks, a small beach and 3/4 of a mile walk gets you to Keller Beach and Miller-Knox Park. A 10 minute drive gets you to the SF ferry, which takes you right to the Embarcadero and Ferry Building. Or drive across the Richmond-San Rafael bridge (just blocks away) to reach all the natural beauty of Marin: beaches, hiking, redwoods, etc. BART is also a 10 minute drive from the house.

This fully furnished, comfortable and art filled home is an amazing retreat. 2 bedrooms-one with a queen temperpedic and a small bedroom with a double bed). One bathroom with walk in shower with view. Relax in the yard by the fire pit, sit and relieve the day’s worries in the massage chair or chill out and watch the large smart TV. The house is small (980 sq ft) but mighty! There is parking for one car “off street” … at the end of the dead end little court that is our main entrance. There is a half step to enter the home and 1 step to enter the main bedroom and level in from the parking, so it is great for anyone with limited mobility.

Sunsets in the yard or on the deck are amazing! The yard is fenced and a well-behaved dog will be considered - the fenced yard encompasses our tenants small house next door. There is a tomato garden that will be producing edible tomatoes by late July. There is also a flower bed, apricot, apple and plum trees. I am an artist, high school ceramics teacher and musician. My husband is a sculptor. He also designed many of the home’s features and you’ll see our artwork around.

Ideally, the right person will sublet the home for the entire time. I will consider a partial stay.

I am a high school ceramics teacher, musician (I play percussion and vocals in a 10 piece funk and dance band), traveler and I make the most out of summer vacation. Giuseppe is a successful sculptor and founder of an art center in Colorado. He splits his time between here and there and wandering the world with me. We both have strong aesthetics, are not into clutter, love our dog and pretty much anything outdoors (we raft, kayak, mountain bike, etc). We are friends with our neighbors and we look out for one another. 3 summers running we had the same subletters but this year they’ll be on a Mediterranean cruise. And they want to come back the following year.
