I am looking for someone to take over my 1 bedroom Astoria, NY apartment lease. I love this apartment but I just won a housing lottery apartment and need to get out of my current lease.
Lease takeover would start Oct/Nov this year. This lease would end July 31, 2026, but I believe once you take over the lease, you can renew next year because it is rent stablized.

- There are steps to get into the front of the building but there is an elevator in the building.
- Hardwood Floors and picture frame walls.
- At corner of 31st ave and 35th street in Astoria NY.
- Laundromat is next door.
- Citibike in front of building
- Close to N/W Broadway stop and EMR Steinway stop

I am the current tenant and leaseholder for this apartment. I love the space and would have stayed here a few more years if I had not won a new housing lottery apartment. I hope to find someone who will enjoy living here as much as I have.
