After 3 years working in Paris, I'm taking a surf sabbatical through mid-April. I’m looking for a respectful person or couple to stay in my apartment while I’m gone. It’s a one-bedroom (40 m²) on rue Daval, a stone's throw away from the Bastille (with metro lines 1, 5, and 8) and walking distance to all of central and eastern Paris.
The apartment has a large main room with a pull-out sofa (comfortably sleeps two) and fully-equipped kitchen and breakfast nook, and a bedroom with a queen bed. The building dates from the late 16th/early 17th century, and the apartment is on the second floor (3rd floor US-style), and faces east overlooking rue St. Sabin.
Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, and all utilities included.
Available January 20–April 12.
Rent:
$800/week or $2,500/month for the period Jan 20–Apr 12.
Prices including cleaning and all utilities.
If you are looking for an extended visit to Paris with convenient access to both more touristic and more local social scenes, this is the spot for you.
Please write with a short note about yourself and what brings you to Paris.
Originally from the Bay Area, in Paris since 2022, lover of music (Paris is great for this), food (also this) and the ocean (a bit trickier). Leaving for a few months to spend time in Turkey, North Africa and South America, after which I'll come back to Paris to resume work. The apartment, which I recently purchased and moved into, is my full-time home, so I'm looking to leave it in good hands while I'm traveling. A couple close friends who live in the neighborhood will be available to help should anything come up.
$1000 fully reimbursable security deposit required for the January–April period.
