Subletting our lovely apartment in Crown Heights, Brooklyn while we are away! The apartment is located on a tree-lined block right next to Brower Park/Brooklyn Children's Museum (corner of Bergen St & Brooklyn Ave).

The dates are July 26-September 16, but we will consider 1-month sublets.

We put a lot of thought into furnishing the space to make it comfortable and convenient while paying attention to the apartment’s original features. The place comes with a fully-stocked kitchen and all necessary appliances.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a brownstone, and the owners live above us. There are no other tenants in the building, and the owners are lovely and responsive. The unit features hardwood floors throughout, beautiful wood paneling and a decorative fireplace in the living room, exposed brick in the main bedroom, backyard access, and in-unit washer & dryer. There are also two mobile A/C units in the apartment, which have made the recent heat waves bearable.

This is technically a 2-bedroom apartment, but we currently have it set up as a main bedroom + office/guest room with a comfortable convertible sofa (becomes a full-size bed). The main bedroom has access to the shared backyard.

We have a baby, so we have a crib, playpen, and high chair currently set up (can be seen in some of the photos)— we can remove these things if they are not needed. The entirety of the apartment, minus one closet (we use it to store baby things etc), will be available, and all utilities are included in the rent (electricity, 1 GB Fios, and gas).

The apartment is close to both Nostrand A/C (0.6 miles) & Kingston-Throop C (0.4 miles), as well as the 3 train at Nostrand (0.8 miles) & Kingston (0.5 miles). The B 65 bus stops on our corner, and there are several other buses with stops nearby. Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Prospect Park are both a little over a mile away (~25-30 min on foot).

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
