Welcome to your home in the heart of Lisbon!
Bright and spacious, 330 square foot apartment with a living room, two bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen and a bathroom.
Built in the 1950’s, the building and apartment have beautifully preserved wooden features including the original wood floors, gorgeous building hallway, staircase and fixtures.
The kitchen and office space offer partial river views, while the main bedroom and living room face a quiet square with two majestic maple trees. The 2nd bedroom is set up with desk and bed, ready to use as a guest room, office/work space, or yoga room.
The 4-storied building offers a rooftop for tenants’ use with great city views and the Tejo River. The rooftop is set up with a table and chairs, ready for sunset drinks and al fresco dinning.
The apartment is a second floor walk up (third floor in the US); there is no elevator.
The apartment includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen: fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, hand blender, as well as plenty of cookware and dinnerware
- Wi-Fi internet
- Cable TV
- Laundry washing machine, vacuum cleaner, portable fans, electric space heaters
- Plenty of towels, bed linens, duvets and covers
Location:
The apartment is in the Penha de França parish, in a residential neighborhood, away from the touristic frenzy but just minutes away from the trendy areas of Graça and Anjos, where there are lots of restaurants, bars, cafes, little shops, parks and markets.. It is atop one of Lisbon’s highest hills. The closest subway stop is Anjos on the green line. Miradouro do Monte Agudo and Jardim do Caracol da Graca are among some of the closest attractions.
Specially in the city center, be ready to walk up and down in uneven cobble stone streets all the time. Comfy shoes will be a treasured item!
I am a filmmaker living between Brooklyn and Lisbon and I love the two wonderful cities that I call home.
I have always had great guests (mostly academics/researchers and artists/creatives), many of whom I have stayed in contact over the years.
I look forward to welcoming you to my Lisbon home!
I usually like to have a video chat with prospective guests so we can get to know each other and make sure my place is the right fit. I ask for a security deposit and for guests to sign a temporary rental agreement. Guests' references are greatly appreciated. I can provide references of previous guests.
