Looking for one roommate in this spacious rental off of the West 225th stop on the 1 train. This is part of a two family home with the owner living upstairs, although she currently resides in Manhattan. The owner is very reliable. The room is 10 x 11 with some expanded corners. It is unfurnished. You have one closet in your bedroom as well as one in the hallway. There is one shared bathroom with a window. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment which allows for privacy. We also have an outdoor patio area with a small garden. Finally, this neighborhood offers a mix of both city and suburban life.

The Marble Hill area is a great and convenient neighborhood in Upper Manhattan between Inwood and Riverdale. We are:

-Four blocks from the 1 train station (35-40 minutes to midtown Manhattan) and two blocks from the MetroNorth (20 minutes to Grand Central).
-A 15 minute walk from Van Cortlandt Park. It has amazing trails as well as a horse back riding facility.
-A 5 minute walking distance from Target, Starbucks, TJ Max and several grocery stores.
-A 5 minute walk to nice cafes and restaurants in the popular Riverdale area.
-Two suburban blocks from a clean and friendly laundromat.
