The apartment is up one easy flight of stairs and has a warm, lived-in feel, filled with an exceptional collection of contemporary Australian art and a large library of art books.

The space is fully furnished and ideal for someone wanting a comfortable, inspiring Sydney base for a few months, especially artists, writers, curators, or anyone working remotely. There is reliable Wi-Fi and a dedicated work-from-home setup with a standing desk. The apartment has a recently renovated kitchen with a new fridge and dishwasher, plus an internal washer and dryer. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and entertaining.

The building is pet-friendly and the apartment gets beautiful natural light throughout the day. The atmosphere is calm and creative rather than ultra-minimal or hotel-like, a real home with character.

The location is one of the best parts: a 2-minute walk to the 311 bus, around 12 minutes to Kings Cross Station, and walking distance to Sydney’s best restaurants, cafes, bars, harbourside parks, swimming spots, and galleries. Elizabeth Bay is leafy, walkable, and close to both the city and the beach lifestyle.

For artists or creative practitioners, there is also the possibility of access to my large, bright studio space nearby (approximately 60sqm, a 20-minute walk from the apartment). The studio includes a felting machine and long-arm sewing machine and could function as a small independent residency setup. Studio access would be arranged separately at an additional cost.
