I have a studio share available on Morgan Ave in Greenpoint, Brooklyn—ideal for an out-of-town painter. Most current studio mates live outside NYC and visit a few times a year for focused work sessions, staying for a few days at a time.

The studio is on the 4th floor and measures just over 23’ x 11’ with 9.5’ ceilings (floor to bottom of lights). It’s a comfortable, functional space with everything you need to work and stay overnight: a pull-out couch that sleeps two, excellent natural light from two large windows, strong overhead lighting, a slop sink, bathroom, internet, A/C, some storage, and a smoke-free environment.

The building itself is clean, quiet, and well maintained, with a service elevator—ideal for moving materials and equipment.

Affordable studio setups like this are increasingly rare in the area, and we’d love to keep this arrangement going. It’s a great option for an artist who needs an occasional Brooklyn workspace and place to stay without the cost of a full-time studio.
