Beautiful modern farmhouse just over an hour from NYC set against the mountains and a short distance from the Hudson River and many area attractions. A perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, whether to relax or to explore the beauty of the lower Hudson Valley.

Enjoy a single level of our home, complete with hardwood floors, plenty of light and an airy open-concept floor plan. Comfortable and serene, the house is the perfect place to unwind with a large living space (complete with comfy couches, smart TV and wifi), chef's kitchen w upgraded appliances (espresso maker and more), large dining table, and king bedroom with ensuite. Set against the mountains in a little enclave of bucolic Garrison, we are a skip hop and jump to Cold Spring village and close to many area attractions--great hiking, skiing, Bear Mountain, Fahnestock park and much more.

We are offering our home at a deep discount in exchange for keeping an eye on our sweet pup (also open to alternative arrangements for professional pet sitters.) She's very low maintenance but happiest at home so we figured we'd try this route rather than send her to grandma's. She's a medium sized feist who spends most of her day laying in the sunshine or next to the wood stove, but also loves a good walk, little praise, and, of course, treats.

Must be a dog lover and have good experience with them. Ideally we'd love someone traveling solo, but would consider a quiet couple. Must be neat, honest, responsible, and trustworthy.
