We are renting our cozy beautiful home for the Spring semester as I teach outside of VT. This place is a haven for us and truly feels like a peaceful retreat. 15 acres of woods to walk (or xc ski!) on and a short drive to the Hinesburg Town Forest (a mountain bikers dream) and to Camel's Hump. Close by to Cochrans and Bolton ski areas. Our property is surrounded by beauty and endless possibilities for adventures.

You can cozy up to the wood stove in the living room after ice skating on our private pond or walk two minutes to our neighbor's sauna spa. This place is perfect for a small family with dogs that all need adventures and space to run around and play.

There is also a functional wood shop that we could discuss you having access to use as well as a sugar shack. There is an art studio but it is not fully ready for the winter.

Please note that the third bedroom is up a steep flight of stairs and may not be suitable for everyone. Happy to talk more about the stairs and any other questions around access to ensure it is a good fit.

Open concept on the first floor. 1.5 bathrooms (shower, not bathtub), 3 bedrooms (Queen bed and two Full beds or option of one twin), living room, dining room, separate office space in detached building next to house, propane "wood" stove, regular wood stove, and heat pumps. Washer/dryer, big porch, tons of privacy.

This place comes fully furnished but we can discuss storing furniture if you prefer to furnish certain areas with your own furniture.

This is a great place for people who work remotely, work in Burlington or the surrounding areas or don't mind a 45 minute drive to Middlebury (one of us is a faculty member there and is very accustomed to the drive).

Please note, you will need winter tires and all wheel drive around here. This is a requirement really anywhere in Vermont during the winter.

Looking for someone to stay the entire time but may be open to shorter term. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and want to find the right people who can enjoy all the amazing aspects of this place.
