Enjoy the beautiful New York summer this August in Ridgewood, Queens in this lovely, quiet, one bedroom apartment. Large bedroom, living room, and bathroom in a beautiful, warm wood paneled apartment in the idyllic Ridgewood neighborhood abundant with coffee shops, boutiques, amazing restaurants, and parks. Access to the M and L trains, as well as the Q54 and other bus lines. The apartment is also near two citibike docs, with easy access to Bushwick, Williamsburg, and LES via metropolitan avenue.

The apartment has huge windows and lots of natural light, lots of plants (no care required but if you are willing/have a green thumb I can discount rent for plant sitting). Tons of closet space that you will have access to, as well as a single speed bike that you are welcome to use if it fits.

The apartment is on the first floor so it is accessible besides a 4 step stoop leading into the building. There are only 2 other units in the building so it’s a very quiet, friendly, home-y vibe. There is a back yard but it is sadly completely off limits!!!

I love my apartment, and am looking for quiet, responsible, clean, and friendly sub-letters to enjoy while I am away on a work trip. Serious inquiries only.

My name is Cat (she/they). I am a freelance dancer and teacher based in NYC. I share my lovely apartment with my long term partner, who is a photographer and skateboarder. We love biking through our neighborhood, enjoy the outdoors, music, and animals. We both enjoy a tidy home, but have an eclectic and lived-in taste that keeps our apartment warm and unpretentious. During this sublet I will be in Europe for a work-related trip, and on a 6 hour time difference. I will either show you the apartment in person, or offer a video tour and detailed written instructions (trash, closet access, keys). The landlord is very present and available for any issues you might encounter, though in my experience, are few and far between. We are also very friendly with our upstairs neighbors who can help if you need anything.
