Subleasing our home as we travel to get married!

My partner and I have really loved putting our home together with lots of plants, art, and beautiful sunlight moving through different parts of the house during the day. It’s our favorite place in all of NYC.

It’s a spacious, furnished 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment with a large separate kitchen, separate dining and living area, so there’s plenty of room to settle in.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, and more, and you’re welcome to use my spices and lentils too.

We also have a pretty robust library at home that you’re very welcome to dip into, and of course, feel free to use the TV as well.

The bedroom looks out onto a large patio/playground area, which is great if you want some outdoor time.

The apartment is in a four-floor walk-up in a medium-rise building with a live-in super who is amazing and super helpful. There’s also a laundry room in the building.

Location-wise, it’s in Prospect Lefferts Gardens - vibrant, welcoming, and very easy to feel at home in. You’re one block from the 2 and 5 trains, two blocks from the Q, and about three blocks from the B train. Citi Bike stands are right outside the building door!

Prospect Park is a short walk away, along with the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Brooklyn Museum, so you get a really nice mix of green space and city life. Manhattan is about a 20-minute train ride. Just around the block, there are supermarkets, grocery stores, and tons of restaurants, cafés, and bars. It’s a lively neighborhood with a strong sense of community.

The building itself is family-friendly.
No pets, unfortunately.
