I am a woodworker/artist looking to rent out a majority share of my wood shop. I am in the process of building a barn upstate where I will eventually move my workshop but it will take a couple of years. In the meantime, I would like to offer my fully setup space to an experienced woodworker who is easy to get along with and respectful of nice machines. Occasionally I will need to build some small projects but the space would be mostly yours. This is not for someone looking to run a large manufacturing business out of the shop. It is more for a hobby builder or someone with a business making one off furniture or custom cabinets.
Shop is equipped with a professional Sawstop cabinet saw with a large outfeed table, Festool miter saw built into an excellent miter station, a 16", 3.6 HP bandsaw with top quality resaw blade, 14", 1.25 HP band saw, 16" Felder jointer, 20" JET planer, radial arm saw, small lathe, router table, drill press, festool sanders, and more.
Looking to find someone respectful, who likes to keep a work space tidy and in good working order.
Creative woodworker/ artist.
Would write up a basic agreement to be signed. No long term commitments necessary but would need a month notice if the person would like to move on.
