Subletting a 1 bed / 1 bath in the heart of Brooklyn's historic Bed-Stuy neighborhood.

The building was renovated in the last few years, and is situated in an excellent location. The bathroom, kitchen and main living areas have modern appliances and are maintained regularly by the property management company.

Right next to the Bedford-Nostrand 'G' train station and B38 bus stops. One avenue from Herbert Von King park with lots of cafes, restaurants, markets and more in walking distance.

The Deal:
I'll be splitting time between NYC and NC, and am looking to sublet the majority of my apartment. My dogs are older and need space to relax, which sadly makes living in Brooklyn especially challenging. I'm looking to find a person who would live here as the only occupant, preferably no couples. Right now I'm only looking for a maximum of 7 months, but this could potentially be extended if the right person fits.

I will be in town regularly, but probably only 60-90 days of the year, so please take this into consideration when responding. You must be okay with me staying in the space for chunks of time. Think the right person will be a creative professional who comes to NYC regularly for work/play/family, and needs a quality place to stay with little hassle.

I recently deep cleaned the space, outfitted it with a number of new items (dishrack, curtains, shower head, toilet seat, etc), and cleared out the majority of my personal belongings, aside from some small furniture and art. If you want to use the bed, desk, couch or other furniture that I have in the space already we can figure that out as well.

The rent is $3150, security is $3150, internet additional $99/month.

- Parking on the street is better than most other nearby areas, and double parking allowed during ASP times.

*disclaimer - This unit is a 2-bedroom. The second bedroom will be used as storage and a place for me to stay when I am in town for work.
